What is MonkFeed?
MonkFeed is a customer feedback and feature voting platform for SaaS and mobile app teams. Your team manages feedback in a shared dashboard and can publish a public roadmap.
How does MonkFeed work?
Add a single script tag to your app. Users click the MonkFeed widget to submit or upvote feature requests. Your team sees all feedback in the dashboard, where you can comment, change status, and use AI (with your own API key) to prioritize ideas. A shareable roadmap URL lets users track what's coming next.
How do I embed the widget?
Copy the embed script from your MonkFeed dashboard and paste it into your HTML, React, Next.js, or any JavaScript app. The widget is under 10 kb, loads asynchronously, and requires no extra dependencies. It works with any framework.
What's included in the free Hobby plan?
The Hobby plan is free forever — no credit card required. It includes 1 project, the full feedback widget, unlimited feedback submissions from your users, and basic analytics. You can upgrade to Pro at any time.
What's the difference between Pro and Enterprise?
Pro ($84/mo annually or $99/mo monthly) adds unlimited projects, role-based access control, AI prioritization with your own API key, a public roadmap, custom branding, CSV export, and advanced analytics. Enterprise ($252/mo annually or $299/mo monthly) adds SSO, dedicated support, an SLA, and priority onboarding.
Does MonkFeed support BYOK AI?
Yes. MonkFeed uses a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model for AI features — you connect your own API key (e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic). MonkFeed never holds your API costs or access. This keeps AI usage transparent, controllable, and avoids vendor lock-in.
How is MonkFeed different from Canny or UserVoice?
MonkFeed uses per-project billing — you pay per product you run, not per team member. Canny and UserVoice charge per seat, which scales costs as your team grows. MonkFeed's Pro plan is a flat rate regardless of team size, making it far more predictable for small and mid-size SaaS teams. MonkFeed also ships a sub-10 kb widget and supports BYOK AI.
Is a credit card required to start?
No. The Hobby plan is free forever and requires no credit card. You only need to add a payment method when you upgrade to a paid plan.
Does MonkFeed have a public REST API?
MonkFeed currently provides an embeddable widget and dashboard. A public REST API for programmatic access is on the roadmap. Contact support@monkfeed.com if you have a specific integration requirement.
Can I migrate from Canny, Frill, or another feedback tool?
Yes. MonkFeed supports CSV import for migrating feedback and feature requests from other tools. Export your data from Canny, Frill, or UserVoice as CSV and import it into your MonkFeed project. Reach out to support@monkfeed.com for migration assistance.
Does MonkFeed support white-label or custom branding?
Yes — on Pro and Enterprise plans you can customize the widget's colors, logo, and appearance to match your product. The MonkFeed branding is removed on all paid plans.
What is MonkFeed's data and privacy policy?
